This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) for Viazi (“we,” “us,” or “our”), describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and/or share (“process”) your information when you register to use our platform, make a donation or engage with us in other related ways. Reading this Policy will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Platform. 1. Information We Collect
1.1. Personal Data You Provide: For the purposes of this Policy, “Personal Data” refers to any information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person, as defined under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016. This includes, but is not limited to, names, identification numbers, location data, online identifiers, and any other information that can be used, either alone or in combination with other information, to identify an individual. We collect Personal Data from you when you create an account, share content on the Platform, communicate with us, or make a donation. We are committed to ensuring that your Personal Data is processed in accordance with the GDPR. We will collect, use, and store your Personal Data only for specified, legitimate purposes and in a manner that is lawful, fair, and transparent.
1.2. Account and Donation Information: Donors can use the Platform without creating an account; however, an account is required if you represent an organization or wish to access features that require identification. When you create an account, we collect information associated with your account, including your name, contact information, and account credentials. When you make a donation, we collect certain information, including your name, email address, and payment method details.
1.3. User Content: We gather Personal Data from updates provided by donation recipients, as well as any files, reviews, comments, feedback, or other inputs you submit on the Platform.
1.4. Communication and Social Media Information: If you communicate with us, we may collect your name, contact information, and the contents of your messages. Additionally, we maintain pages on social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. When you engage with our social media pages, we collect any Personal Data you choose to provide, such as your contact details. The companies hosting our social media pages may also provide us with aggregate information and analytics about our interactions.
1.5. Automatically Received Personal Data: When you use the Platform, we automatically collect the following information: (i) device Information which includes your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, and settings; and (ii) data on your usage of the Platform, including the types of content you view or engage with, the features you use, your actions, time zone, country, access dates and times, user agent and version, type of device, and connection details.
2. How We Use Personal Data
We may use Personal Data for the following purposes: (i) to process payments and donations; (ii) to provide, administer, maintain and analyze the Platform; (iii) to improve our Platform and conduct research; (iv) to communicate with you including to send you donation updates; (v) to develop new features and services; (vi) to prevent fraud, criminal activity, or misuses of the Platform; (vii) to protect the security of our IT systems; (viii) in connection with business transfers; (ix) to comply with our legal obligations and legal process; and (x) to protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of Ours, partners, You, or third parties. Additionally, We may aggregate and anonymise your information to create statistical or aggregated data that does not personally identify you. This aggregated and anonymised data may be used for various purposes, such as analysing usage patterns, improving our services, or conducting market research, or sharing with third parties for lawful purposes.

3.1. Vendors and Service Providers: We may provide Personal Data to vendors and service providers, who will use Personal Data only in the course of performing their duties to us. Such providers include hosting services, payment aggregators, cloud services, web analytics services, among others.

3.5. Business Account Administrators: When you join a Viazi account, the administrators of that account may access and control your Viazi account. In addition, if you create an account using an organization’s email address, we may share certain account information with your organization to, for example, enable you to be added to their business account.
3.6. Other Users and Third Parties You Share Information With: Certain features allow you to display or share information with other users or third parties. For example, you may share information on a donation to other users via shared links. Be sure you trust any user or third party with whom you share information.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Viazi processes your Personal Data under the following legal bases as outlined in the GDPR. We may process your Personal Data (i) if you have provided explicit consent for us to do so for a specific purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time; (ii) if processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract; (iii) to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject; or (iv) when it is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that such interests are not overridden by your rights or interests. This includes improving our services, conducting research, and ensuring the security of our Platform.
5. Your Rights
As a user of the Viazi Platform and depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your Personal Data under the GDPR: (i) You have the right to request copies of your Personal Data that we hold; (ii) You can request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data; (iii) You may request the deletion of your Personal Data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected; (iv) You have the right to request that we limit the processing of your Personal Data under certain conditions; (v) You can request that we transfer your Personal Data to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions; and (vi) You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data in certain situations. You can exercise some of these rights through your Viazi account. If you are unable to exercise your rights through your account, please submit a request through info@viazi.io.
6. Cookies
We use cookies to operate and improve our Platform. We use cookies or online analytics tools that utilize cookies to analyze how our users use the Platform. A “cookie” is a piece of information sent to your browser by a website you visit. You can set your browser to accept all cookies, to reject all cookies, or to notify you whenever a cookie is offered so that you can decide each time whether to accept it. However, refusing a cookie may in some cases limit the function of a website.
7. Minors
The Platform is not suitable for users under the age of 18 (“Minors”). We take the privacy of all our users seriously, including Minors, and the policies and rights mentioned above apply equally to Minor’s Personal Data. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from individuals under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your minor has provided us with Personal Data without your consent, you may request the removal of this data and/or terminate their access to the App. Please note that we may need to verify your identity before responding to such requests.
8. Security and Retention
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect Personal Data both online and offline, in transit and rest. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via the Platform or email. We’ll retain your Personal Data for only as long as we need in order to provide our service to you, or for other legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes, safety and security reasons, or complying with our legal obligations.
